Blue Skies Playschool is a Christ centered, hands-on school for children ages 3.5-6. Blue Skies is owned by a mother/daughter team, and located in Medical Lake, Washington. Unlike typical preschool, where the child spends many hours in the classroom, our vision is to explore the world; with live creatures, cooking, award winning books, creative art, dress up, cultural exposure, trips to the lake to feed ducks, catch bugs and cloud watch, occasional excursions to places that will reinforce learning. And, of course, lots and lots of play. We yearn to facilitate an appreciation and a joy of learning to each child.
Our philosophy : to develop in each child, through one on one facilitation and developmental curricula, a love for great books, exploring nature and the arts, blossoming friendships, and a healthy, active lifestyle.
